Learn Spanish in Alicante
24 Aug

Alicante, apart from its 1000 years of history and its beautiful beaches, is also a city with a strong university tradition that attracts more and more international students to the city. A large number of professional schools teaching Spanish have already been established here. These schools offer various intensive language courses for both their students and foreigners. In these courses, you will learn to communicate, but you will also learn about the history and surroundings of the city.

Academia Berlingua

Founded in 1961, this language school is the oldest language school in Alicante. It is located in a quiet, beautiful square, right in the centre of town.

This school organises Spanish courses directly for foreigners and attracts them to its spacious air-conditioned classrooms, which are fully and modernly equipped. Course participants are taught by professional, university-educated teachers with proven experience. It offers a direct method of teaching in small groups. Packages with classes and accommodation (in shared apartments, homestays, or student residences) are also available.

Colegio Internacional Alicante

A language school founded in 1998 offering Spanish lessons for foreigners. All teachers are university graduates with many years of experience in teaching Spanish. They work together with the students, creating a friendly, dynamic and young atmosphere. The main goal of these teachers is for the student to learn to speak, think and feel in Spanish during their stay. They also offer perfectly equipped classrooms with air conditioning. The school is located in the centre of Alicante, right on the main business district and just 5 minutes from the sea and historical sites.

The school runs courses at six different levels: beginner A1, elementary A2, intermediate B1, upper intermediate B2, advanced C1, superior C2. They also open a group with one student. At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate from Colegio Internacional Alicante, but the condition is to meet 80% attendance.
