These are the things you can buy in Spain that you can pack in your suitcase and take home with you. Spanish souvenirs are fun to buy and even better to give as gifts from Spain.
Olive oil
Spanish olives and olive oil are absolutely delicious and make the perfect gift from Spain. Did you know that Spain is the world's largest producer of olive oil? Yes, Spain produces some of the best olive oil in the world and even sells it to Italy.
In Spain, olive oil is used regularly, mostly in salads, salad dressings and for cooking. Local olive oil makes the perfect gift for any member of your family.
The best thing to do is to buy extra virgin olive oil, it is the best quality. Buy your oil in a jar or can.
Wine or Cava (sparkling wine)
Buying wine in Spain is almost a must. Either buy classic wine or try to buy Cava. Spain's top sparkling wines, Cava, are based on the same principles as Champagne and are made using the traditional method of fermenting wine in the bottle. One such interesting fact is that the Cava appellation can only be used for sparkling wines from a legally defined area in Catalonia, Spain, so the appellation is also a guarantee of quality and place of origin.
We visit the Alicante area regularly and wine tasting is one of our favourite activities - but you don't have to be in Spain to enjoy Spanish wines. Bring wine to friends back home in the Czech Republic and they'll be delighted, you'll see. And next time they'll fly to Spain with you.
Spanish tablecloths
And something for the ladies. You can find beautiful tablecloths in most of the city markets. And they're also quite a popular gift from a trip to Spain. But only for the ladies. You can't impress the gentlemen with a tablecloth, that's true. For grandma, for example, it's an ideal and wonderful gift.

Not only are they useful, but they are also beautiful as decoration in the home. Plus, fans are very lightweight, so if you struggle with the weight of airplane luggage, fans are one of the best things to buy in Spain because they are easy to transport.
Spanish scarves
Scarves are a popular accessory all year round. You can usually find them almost anywhere in any Spanish city. Try looking in the local markets. They can be bought for between 1 and 5 euros each. They are also the perfect gift to take with you in your suitcase. Light and stackable.

The pan at Paella
Perhaps a little strange, but an original gift. Paella is simply not authentic Spanish unless it is made in a traditional paella pan.
